7:00 PM - The Lupones (Pittsburgh, PA)
The LuPones delight your ears and your eyes with a totally made up musical. Improvisers with strong musical theater backgrounds, they take a single audience suggestion and weave grounded relationship based scenework with the heighten emotionally charged songs. Accompanied by an improviser/composer pianist and percussionist that looks like an Apostle, The LuPones create a full musical. The LuPones play every Saturday at Steel City Improv Theater in Pittsburgh, PA, and have been seen at such NYC venues as UCB East and The Magnet as part of the the NY Musical Improv Festival. And like their namesake, Patti LuPone, they take their diction and no flash photography VERY SERIOUSLY. Cast: Kasey Daley, Connor McCanlus, Emily Askin, Alex Rudzki, Molly Bain, Brett Goodnack, James Rushin, Aaron Tarnow. steelcityimprov.com

8:00 PM - The Improvised Play (NYC)
We create fully improvised hour-long plays in the style of great playwrights such as Williams, Mamet, Pinter, Chekhov, and Shepard. We're a group of actor/improvisers that have all been through the UCB improv training program, (most of us are house performers there.) We've also engaged in rigorous dramaturgical study of the playwrights we perform. Our show combines these elements. We aim to mix the highbrow and lowbrow into an intelligent, but often silly, piece of improvised comedy theater. 9:30 PM - RuBin (NYC)
Formed in the summer of 2009 during a class taught by Rachel Hamilton at the Magnet Theater, RuBin (Ruby Marez & Binu Paulose) create a wonderful blend of offbeat but indelible characters cast into ordinary circumstances, creating extraordinary & hilarious scenework. They'll either be lovers or fighters - sometimes both. Either way, it will all end awkwardly.

The Narrator is a musical improv show where story is King, emotion is Queen, and music is our castle. Born of the Magnet Theater's Directors Series, this is a unique show where a narrator guides us through our story and the actors bring the tale to life. Narrator audiences have laughed, cried, and spent shows on the edges of their seats. This is a truly one-of-a-kind musical improv experience featuring an innovative format and an all-star cast.

3:00 PM - Face Off Unlimited presents Goon River (Astoria, NY)
Completely improvised and performed in total darkness, Goon River is a unique journey into the imagination. Several improvised stories are cleverly woven together to create a tale of wonder and woe that you'll hardly believe is being made up on the spot, and all around you! Adapted from a classic improvisation exorcise, Face Off has created a new type of theatre experience, where audience members are literally surrounded by the story. By turning out the lights and removing the visual aspects of the experience, the story telling becomes personal to each theatre goer's imagination. With the actors seated throughout the audience, the listener is immersed into the world woven by Face Off's master improvised story tellers that is unique to each performance. Discover the stories and secrets of the inhabitants of this All-American small town. The stories may be funny, but they may not have a happy ending. Cast: Courtnay Griswold, Katie Terry, Lyle Pinder, Brian Walters, Steve Zegers. Created, directed, and produced by Face Off Unlimited. 5:00 PM - Mike Brown Solo Improv Extravaganza (NYC)
Let's be honest. The Mike Brown Solo Improv Extravaganza is pretty much like any other improv troupe that you'll discover along life's path...with one exception: the show is completely improvised by one person. That's right, improv fans! An entire improv troupe has just been reduced to a single person, which means that all characters discovered in the scene are portrayed through the eyes of one improviser. The show started in 2009 when a small group of Mike's friends planted the thought of doing a solo improv show in his head. After successfully testing it out at The PIT's "Improdome" in NYC, Mike continued playing with this form around New York, as well as various festivals throughout the United States, until the "Mike Brown Solo Improv Extravaganza" was conceived and a new genre was reinvented. 7:00 PM - Michelin (NYC)
Ever wonder what an improv show would look like, with realistic and fun man/woman theatrical tension? And by realistic and fun we mean, “Have I been watching a show all this time because I can’t tell; this seems real. It seems like I’m watching a real situation between these two and although it’s entertaining, it’s making me feel a little awkward but these are really attractive people, so I think I’ll stay and be a voyeur.” Michelin.
